Noted actress Sharmily Ahmed is going to receive the lifetime achievement award. She will receive the award in the ‘Binodondhara Performance Award 2013’ giving ceremony, which is scheduled to be held at 4:00pm at the main auditorium of the National Museum on May 20. Sharmily Ahmed will receive the award in the programme from the Railway Minister Mujibul Haque Mujib MP. Cultural Affairs Secretary Dr Ranjir Kumar Biswas, Chairman of ATN Bangla Mahfuzur Rahman, Editor of daily Amader Orthoniti Naimul Islam Khan and Chairman of Creative Media Ltd Syed Borhan Kabir will be also present on the occasion. While sharing her feelings in this regard Sharmily Ahmed told this correspondent, “It is really a great feeling for me because I have been working in media fulltime for long time in my life. I have received support and love from my fans except nothing. When I would get the award I will really feel happy.”
