The matches of the Sharjah Cup International Chess Championship VII for Women began last evening at Sharjah in United Arab Emirates. WIM Shamima Akter Liza is participating in the event. In first round Liza will be playing against Al-Ramadan Nadya of Kuwait. 40 female players from 13 countries including 4 Women Grandmasters, 1 International Master and 7 Women International Masters are participating in the event.
