Last Eid Sharika was not seen to work in play or telefilm. This Eid she has acted in three plays. On the occasion of ensuing Eid-ul-Azha, she last acted in Sakhawat Manik directed and Doyal Saha scripted a play titled Briddher Cinema. Its shooting was wrapped up yesterday at a shooting house in the city’s Uttara area. In this play, Sharika again paired up with Emon.
It is the only play for the pair of Emon and Sharika this Eid. According to its playwright Doyal Saha, Babor is a scriptwriter. Most of the time he writes scripts to focuses on maid servants, rickshaw-pullers or such type of people. For this reason, producers do not show interest to make play using his stories.
Once Babor dreamt to make movie. He goes to cinema halls and touches posters of films. Once a prostitute named Phuli wanted to enjoy movie with him. She also wanted her payment in this regard. By this payment she spends her days. At one stage, Babor finds Phuli as a mysterious character. This prostitute comes forward to extend her hands towards Babor to make movie. Sharika played the role of Phuli in the play.
While talking about the play Emon told this correspondent, “Story of the play is in a word outstanding. As I am an actor of big screen so its story touches my mind. I became emotional while acting in this play for several times. I give thanks to Sakhawat Manik to give me scope to act in such a story based play.”
Sharika shared her feelings by this way, “My role in the play is very much challenging. So I have to face hardship to make it successful. I have better working understanding with Emon. So we enjoyed a lot working together. This play will be aired in any satellite channel in Eid.”
Meanwhile, Sharika also acted in two other plays for Eid under Hanif Sangket and Tuhin’s direction.
While talking about her less presence in acting Sharika told this correspondent, “I have to give more time to my daughter right now. So, I cannot manage time for acting. My child is my first priority, later works of TVC and plays.”
However, Emon also performed in a TVC directed by Syed Apon Ahsan against Nadia Khan on the occasion of Eid.
