Land Minister Shamsur Rahman Sharif on Wednesday expressed deep shock at the death of legendary Nazrul Sangeet maestro Firoza Begum.
In a message of condolence, he said Firoza Begum had an extraordinary musical talent in the field of Nazrul Sangeet. Sharif said death of Firoza Begum is an irreparable loss in the field of musical arena. The nation will remember her valuable contribution in practice and research of Nazrul Sangeet, he added.
He prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
