A 27-member Executive Committee of the Shariatpur Journalists’ Association (SJA) with Jugantor’s Senior Reporter Mozammel Haque Chanchal as President and Samokal Reporter Ataur Rahman as General Secretary was formed for 2020 to 2021 Session.
The newly selected committee was announced in the city’s Royal Party Hall of Segunbagicha through negotiation on Friday.
Benajir Ahmad of Bangla Vision, Rezaul Haque Reza of Chanel I, Rozina Islam of Prothom Alo, Anisur Rahman of Financial Express and Monir Hossain of Naya Diganto are new Vice-Presidents.
The Joint Secretaries are Asaduzzaman Azam and Mohsin Bepari.
The SJA’s eight Executive Committee members are Rafiqul Islam Azad, Razu Alim, KM Azizur Rahman, Sajjad Hossain, Borhan Uddin, Kanchan Kumar Dey, Shahed Khan and Ali Momin.
