Meher Afroze Shaon is popularly known as both an actress and a singer. Few days ago, she gave her voice for a playback song.
Till now the listeners did not hear the song. After Eid, Shaon is coming with that song. For the first time Shaon has rendered any song under Nachiketa Chakraboty’s composition.
While asking Nachiketa to know about Shaon’s performance he told this correspondent over mobile phone, “Shaon can render song well. As usual she performed well. Her rendering touched my heart.”
Shaon has given her voice for the play-back song titled Ilshe Guri under Tunai Debashis’ music arrangement and lyrics written by Zulfiqar Russell. After Eid-ul-Fitr, its music video will be made, Shahon confirmed it yesterday.
While sharing her feelings Shahon told this correspondent, “It is nothing new to mention about Nachiketada’s music composition. After hearing its composition I agreed to give my voice for the song. I am very much satisfied to render the song. I believe listeners will also enjoy the song. Nachiketa started to read Humayun Ahmed’s books after 2012. Later he became his fan. It is really a bad luck before he (Nachiketa) got Humayun Ahmed alive he could compose some songs for him.”
