Like other actors Lux superstars, Shanarei Devi Shanu was infected with coronavirus. Few days ago, she got negative report of Covid. Shanu informed that she is feeling well now and is staying at her residence in the capital’s Lalmatia area. After taking rest for few days, she will again take part in shooting of BTV’s new serial titled Pother Dharapat. Directed by Mannan Shafique, story of the serial is written by Azad Abul Kalam. Mahfuzar Rahman Ripon is producer of the serial. Basically before Eid-ul-Azha, Shanu started to take part in shooting of this serial, which shooting was held at a new
shooting house in the capital’s Uttara area. After taking part
in that shooting Shanu was infected with Covid-19. She stayed at home during that time under home quarantine. Later, she became Covid negative. While talking about acting in the new serial Shanu said, “Before Eid, during lockdown I took part
in shooting of the serial Pother Dharapat. During that time
shooting was held maintaining social distance and hygiene.
In fact, after taking part in shooting I became sick. Then found
I am corona positive. However, I am well now. I believe I will return to shooting soon because the shooting is scheduled to
be aired within short time.”
Shanu-starrer her first movie was Khijir Hayat Khan directed Mr Bangladesh. If she gets good story, she has interest to act in film. Meanwhile, recently first season of reality show Anonno Protibha was ended on NTV where Shanu was judge of audition round. Shanu feels proud to be a judge in a big reality show. Shanu-written two novel books – Aamar Ekta Tui Chai and Iti Meghbalok – were published in last Amar Ekushey Book Fair. Ekla Akash was Shanu written her first published novel book. Lipstick was second one. For this novel she got Samaresh Basu Sahitya Puroshkar from Kolkata. Shanu has five published poetry books.
