Shanarei Devi Shanu is an actress and Putul is a singer. In last few years, they met each other at Ekushey Book Fair because they are also engaged with writings. Their books were published in previous years’ Ekushey Book Fair. This year, their novels have been published in the book fair.
Title of Shanu’s novel book is Lipstick, while Putul’s novel is Kalo Golaper Bhitor Theke Utsarito Alobrittanto, published from Tamralipi Prokashoni.
Therefore, Shanu-written a poem book titled Priyotom Megh, a compilation of 96 poems, also published on the occasion of book fair.
While talking about her novel book Shanu told this correspondent, “My novel and poem books are published from Anwesha Publishers. From the first day of book fair, I am visiting the fair. Many times I am also giving time at the book stall and giving time to my fans. I believe readers will enjoy my novel.”
On the other hand, Putul said, “Main theme of my novel is dark coloured women who always get disobey from the society. From the beginning day of book fair, I am visiting there along with my parents. I really enjoy the time of Ekushey Book Fair. In fact, I can invent myself in new way during the book fair.”
Both Shanu and Putul informed that from the first day of book fair they are getting positive response from the readers for their novels.
Shanu also mentioned that from February 8 to 11 she will not present at book fair due to shooting of two plays – on February 8 and 9, she will take part in shooting of Jewel Sharif’s faction play for BTV and on February 11, she will take part in shooting of serial Mon Doroja in Manikganj.
Putul also mentioned that she will go to Kolkata on February 8 and will perform in book fair there on February 9. She will return to Bangladesh on February 10. On the occasion of coming Valentine’s Day, Putul’s new song titled Hotam Jodi Ekta Nodi will be released on YouTube channel of Rongon Music.
