For the first time two popular TV actresses Nadia and Shanarei Devi Shanu, also Lux superstar, performed together in role of siblings in a drama serial Baji O Bajna. Directed by Sardar Rokon story of the serial was written by Litu Sakhawat.
In the serial, Nadia and Shanu performed in roles of Moly and Poly. Basically Baji O Bajna is a comedy serial. Firstly it is being made for 13 episodes. Shooting of the serial began at a shooting house in the city’s Uttara area on Monday.
While talking about the serial actress Nadia told this correspondent, “Earlier I had worked under Sardar Rokon’s direction in single episode plays and drama serials. Story of his new serial is also nice. I had experience to work with Shanu in a TV serial. For the first time, we are acting in role of siblings in a serial. I am enjoying acting in the serial.”
Shanu shared her feelings by this way, “It is my first work under direction of Sardar Rokon Bhai. My role in the serial is very interesting. After reading the story I liked and agreed to work in the serial. I thing after broadcasting the serial viewers will like to watch the serial. I can’t feel boring to work in such type of story-based serial. For this reason, I can’t understand how the work comes to end.”
It may be mentioned that Nadia earlier worked under Sardar Rokon’s direction in a serial Chairman Bari, which is being telecasted on Boishakhi TV now, and several TV plays including Bhromra Brindo.
Meanwhile, Nadia and Shanu first worked together in a drama serial under Al Mansur’s direction. Later they also worked together in Debashish Biswas Dip’s serial Hawai Mithai and Amirul Islam Arun’s Poran Kotha.
However, Nadia has already started acting in Salauddin Lavlu’s drama serial Khorkuto, she said.
