On the occasion of coming Ekushey Book Fair, popular actress Shanarei Devi Shanu-written three books will be published. She has already finished writing of a novel book titled Lipstick and a poetry book titled Priyotom Megh. She will also write another book for the children. According to her, she will try to tell stories for the children with images in the book.
Meanwhile, Shanu has acted in Irani Biswas directed a comedy story based play titled Degreedhari Chandu Mama. She played the role of Alta Begum in the play.
While talking about acting in the play Shanu said, “It is a comedy story based play and my role is interesting. I believe viewers will enjoy the play which will be aired on Channel i afternoon time news. But in Aronno Anwar’s drama serial Full HD, I acted in the language of Sylhet region. I am acting against Mosharraf Karim Bhai in the serial. Therefore, I am also acting in Sagor Jahan’s serial Sonar Khancha.”
Shanu-starred only movie was Mr Bangladesh. It was directed by Abu Aktarul Imam. In 2017, Shanu-written first poetry book Nil Foring-er Kabbyo was published.
While talking in this regard Shanu said, “In writing, father is my inspiration. I always want to write like my father. But I never thought I could write regularly. So, I want to continue writing in the long run like my father.”
