Shanarei Devi Shanu is an actress and poet at a time. In her long time career, she also acted in TV plays and telefilms and won hearts of many viewers. But she never got the scope to work in big screen.
For the first time, she acted in a film titled Mr Bangladesh directed by Abu Aktarul Imam. Protest against terrorism is the main theme of the story of this movie. Shanu will be seen to play in role of a doctor at a Rohingya camp in the movie which is scheduled to be released on November 16.
Mr Bangladesh is Shanu acted first movie so she has been engaged with promotional campaign of this movie now. From the early morning to late night she has to pass time with promotional activities of her acted first movie.
Shanu said, “Though Mr Bangladesh is my first acted movie so I am very much eager for its releasing. To watch me on the big screen it is peak time for me. In fact, it is my first acted movie so its feeling is like to give birth a baby or to do something for the first time. This type of feeling also happened when my first poetry book Neel Foring-er Kabbyo was published. Same thing will be happened in case of Mr Bangladesh. It has really become a nice movie. I request the viewers to go to cinema halls for watching this movie.”
Now Shanu acted serial Shat Bhai Champa is being aired on Channel i. Therefore, she is also working in Sagor Jahan’s new serial titled Sonar Khacha. Under Jewel Sharif’s direction she also acted in a health related awareness creating serial Ali’r Astokhondo for BTV, Shanu also said.
