For the long time, Shanta Jahan is remaining on the top position as the viewers’ choice anchor. She is the first choice among the audience in case of different reality and corporate shows, exceptional homely arranged stage shows. Shanta is also first choice for the organisers. For this reason, during corona pandemic, she had more works rather than other anchors. After stable of corona situation, Shanta has returned to work in full swing. She is now getting works one after another, in and outside the capital. For anchoring she has to pass time restlessly now. From today, October 27, Shanta will anchor Banglavision’s show Music Station. She has already started hosted daily Jonokontho’s show, Bhalobashar Rongtulite. Under her hosting, Apu Biswas, Dighi, Toma Mirza and Kornia took part in the show. According to Shanta, she is getting more response to anchor Channel 9’s show Friday Star. She is also anchoring ATN Bangla’s Sonali Jibon now. All these are regular programmes. She has scheduled to anchor corporate or stage shows at All Community Club on October 30, at Dhaka Regency on October 31, at Bogura Cantonment on November 4, at Purbachal Club on November 5, and in Cox’s Bazar for the police officials’ show. Shanta Jahan said, “Anchoring is my devotion. I not only get comfort but also get relief from it. Once I was regular in acting. But at one stage, I found I was not perfect for acting. Rather than anchoring is joyful for me. Alhamdulillah, I remain well with anchoring and I have been passing good times with it. I am grateful to them who like my anchoring and who keep full confidence on me
in this regard.”
