Shanta Jahan is a popular host of present time. Though she acts sometimes but always feels comfortable to present herself as a host to all. For the first time Shanta went to Australia to host a show. She left Dhaka at night on April 18. Today is her birthday. She informed that for the first time she is celebrating her birthday outside the country. She will miss her friends, colleagues and well-wishers. For many years Shanta has been working for the helpless disabled persons. She has own organization also. Besides this, to collect funds for the disabled children a programme is going to be held in Sydney on April 28 where Shanta will host the show. Mehedi Hasan will also perform there.
Hailed from Shariatpur, Shanta is not only engaged with programme hosting but also working for the street children for last five years. For this reason, she went to Australia to host the show from own interest. She said, “As I am working for the street children so when got invitation from the organiser to host the show in Australia I couldn’t regret it. With Allah’s blessing I am working for them. For this reason, I have come to Australia to do something for them. Everybody pray for me.”
Shanta also informed that she will return to Bangladesh on April 30. She was first seen to act in Mabrur Rashid Bannah’s serial Nine & Half. Later she acted in several TV plays. She last acted in Ezaz Munna’s serial Bou Bibi Begum. Shanta also performed as model in more than 30 TVCs.
