Mohammed Shamsul Alam has been elected as Vice-Chairman of Standard Bank Limited recently. He is the founder Director of the Bank.
Alam was born in 1953 at Noapara in Raozanin Chattogram and he has been doing business since 1972. Alam started his first family business with “Trading of Clothes” at Kurbanigonj in Chattogram.
Few years later, he ventured into household Electrical Appliances sector. He is now the Managing Partner of M/S. Radiovision, one of the leading importers, retailers and wholeseller of the household Electrical Appliances.
Mr. Alam was the ex-director of MIDAS Finance Ltd. and he is also the Managing Director of PAM Complex (PVT) Limited, Director of CIDER Education Services Limited, Chattogram, Partner of AB Electronics, “G”. Telecom, “G” Distribution, “GNET” Digital Communications Center, Chattogram etc.
