Shamrat’s two drama serials go on air soon

More than three years ago, late Razzak’s son, film actor Khalid Hossain Shamrat last worked in a movie titled Captain Khan. Later,
he did not see to act in any other movie because according to him,
he got many offers to work but he did not like stories and his characters of those projects. For this reason, he was detached from acting
in movies during this time. But Shamrat said if he gets good story and role, he will surely act in the movie. Now Samrat has concentrated to act in television dramas and serials. Shamrat informed that his acted two new drama serials – Sajib Mahmud’s Hoi Choi Dotcom and Apon Rana’s Red Alert – will go on air in two separate channels. Therefore, his acted another serial titled Natai Ghuri, directed by Imdadul Haque Khan, is being aired in a satellite channel now. Recently Shamrat celebrated his birthday. But he missed his father legendary film actor Razzak a lot. While talking in this regard, Shamrat said, “I can remember my birthdays during childhood. After waking up from bed, I started noise. Then my father took me outside the residence and bought me something. Then I became quiet.
I was the younger member of the family so, everybody loved me so much. But Abbu loved a lot. After getting matured, I passed my birthdays in different ways. After waking up in the morning, I greeted my parents and then completed my breakfasts with them. Round the day heavy meals were arranged at home. In the evening, when guests came, father cut cake with them. Now I cut cake along with mother and elder brothers. Everybody prays for me and for my family.”
In the big screen, Shamrat debut his career opposite Apu Biswas in Razzak directed movie, Ami Banchte Chai. Besides acting, Shamrat also made several numbers of dramas for TV channels. Now he passes most of the time with own business besides acting. “I am a fond of
travelling. So, when gets time,
I go outside Dhaka for travelling,” Shamrat mentioned.
