Saidur Rahman Shamim of Channel i has been elected president of Bangladesh Sports Journalists Association (BSJA) for the next two years.
He was elected for the hot seat of BSJA during a biennial general meeting and election of the association held its office premises at Bangabandhu National Stadium here on Saturday.
Earlier, Junaid Hossain of ETV elected general secretary and AKM Abu Sadat of Maasranga TV elected treasurer of BSJA unopposed.
BSJA General Secretary Raihan Al Mugni and Treasurer Anisur Rahman Paltu presented their reports at the meeting, chaired by Aghore Mondal. The other elected office bearers of BSJA are: Vice Presidents: Anisur Rahman Paltu, Raihan Al Mugni and Arifur Rahman Babu.

EC members: Saeed Mohammad Pithu, Aghore Mondal, Subrota Kumar Saha, Mazhar Uddin Omi, Jubair Hossain (Arafat Jubair) and Minhaj Uddin Khan.
