A 31- member committee of Shambhugonj Press Club was formed on Friday .
A founding committee of Shambhugonj Press Club was elected with Swapon Kumar Vadhra , staff reporter, Daily Swajon as President and Raihan Uddin Sarker , Gouripur upazila correspondent The New Nation as General Secretary .
The other office-bearers are Shah Alam Bhuiyan (Nandail upazila correspondent, daily Ittefaq) as vice- president, Md. Sadekul Islam as assistant secretary, Rafique Biswas(Tarakanda upazila correspondent, daily Manab Zamin) as organizing secretary, Lecturer Mohammad Aminul Haque (Nandail upazila correspondent, daily Alokita Bangladesh) as cultural affairs secretary, Md. Latifur Rahman Masud as treasurer, Rezaul Hasan Sumon as Sports Secretary, Dr. Apurba Ghushal as office secretary, Md. Humayon Kabir Bhuiyan (Nandail upazila correspondent, daily Jaijaidin) as ICT Secretary, Md Muzzamel Hossain as International Affairs Secretary, Tafazzal Hossain as communication and publicity secretary and Amioy Datta Bhaumik, (web-in-charge at Bangla News24.com ) Bishajit Datta Bhaumik (assist. news editor at Boishakhi TV), Md Rakib Manik, (senior reporter at Ekushey Television), Md. Mustafizur Rahman (Gouripur, Iswargonj and Nandail upazila correspondent, daily Samakal) ,Ripon Chandra Barmon, Md. Mehidi Hasan, Md Roman Islam, Selim Rana, Jhuton Chandra Ghush (Haluaghat upazila correspondent, daily Jaijaidin) as executive members for the next three years and Omar Faruk, Runa Begum, Lucky Begum and seven others as general members.
