Md Shakir Amin Chowdhury has been promoted to Deputy Managing Director of Dhaka Bank Limited recently.
He has been with the bank since last 16 years and worked in major branches in Dhaka and Sylhet as head of branch.
Prior to joining the Dhaka Bank, he was served 14 years in Arab Bangladesh Bank.
Shakir is a Certified Corporate Banker and a Fellow of American Academy of Financial Management.
