For the first time, popular model of present time Shakila Parvin acted in a drama titled Second Hand Husband, directed by SM Rubel. She played the role of Mir Sabbir’s girlfriend in the play. Shakila informed that shooting of the play has already been done. Ahona Rahman also acted in an important role in the play.
Shakila said, “In fact, to perform in music video, basically I have to acting. But it is true that acting in TV play is totally different rather than performing as model in music video. Because in music video, expressions are to be presented by the model but in case of acting, expression and dialogue are needed to portray the role. Acting is really tough. I want to establish myself as an actress. In my first acted play, Sabbir Bhai and Ahona Apu have also co-operated me. I give thanks to Rubel Bhai to cast me in his play.”
Shakila also informed that though she wants to continue acting in the small screen but no intention to work in the big screen. Shakila-starred first drama will be aired on SA TV in upcoming Eid. Zahid Hasan and Tisha are her favourite actors. Shakila is also studying Economics in a private university now.
