IM Abu Suafian Shakil of Golden Sporting Club lost to GM M R Lalit Babu of India in 5th round games in the Commonwealth Chess Championships-2016 being held now at Waskaduwa in Sri Lanka.
He has now accumulated 3.5 points after the completion of the 5th round.
In the 6th round games started last afternoon and Shakil was playing against Priyankara Chamil of Sri Lanka when the last report came yesterday afternoon at Bangladesh Chess Federation office.
