Shooter Shakil Ahmed gained fourth gold medal for Bangladesh in the 12th South Asian (SA) Games at the Kahilipara Shooting Range in Guwahati, India on Wednesday.
Shakil Ahmed of Bangladesh Army won gold medal in the Men’s 50 Meter Free Pistol Event scoring 187. 60 points.
Earlier, Mabia Akhter bagged the first gold for Bangladesh in the Weightlifting Competition on February 7. Her compatriot swimmer Mahfuza Akhter won two gold medals in the 50 Metre Breast Stroke and in the 100 Metre Breast Stroke.
Bangladesh took the fourth position in the points table with 43 medals including four gold, 10 silver and 29 bronze medals, till filing this report.
