Famed all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan’s Melbourne Renegades sufferer a 22-run defeat to Adelaide Strikers in their must-win match of Big Bash T20 held on Monday at the Docklands Stadium, Melbourne.
The class all-rounder Shakib, who failed to take any wicket today in his four overs delivery, played a quickfire innings of 16-ball of 22-run smacking a over boundary and a boundary to chase a winning target of 167 runs set by Adelaide Strikers after they opted to bat first.
But Shakib’s Melbourne Renegades fell shot off 22 runs as they were restricted at 144 for 7 from their allotted 20 overs.
Earlier, Adelaide Strikers piled up a challenging total of 166 for for 5 from their stipulated 20 overs.
