Runner Automobiles Limited extended the World ‘s number one all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan’s tenure as their brand ambassador for another two years at the head office of Runner Group at Tejgaon on Sunday.
Star All-rounder Shakib penned his first deal with Runner, the leading motorcycle manufacturer of the country in 2012, he re-signed it 2015 and now will retain the role of promoting the Dayang motorcycle for another two years.
He also was given added responsibility of promoting Bajaj three wheelers as Runner has signed a deal with Bajaj of India to assemble the three wheelers in Bangladesh.
Shakib emphasized upon the safety of motorcycle riding. “The demand of motorcycles has been growing in the last few years, I urge the young generation to maintain the safety rules like wearing a helmet, and not speeding up to excess level” said the ace allrounder.
Runner Group’s chairman Hafizur Rahman, on behalf of the company, signed the deal with the all-rounder. Shakib is the brand amabassador of Bangladesh in the global arena, we are proud to have Shakib as our ambassador” said Hafizur.
The managing director and the CEO of Runner Group Mukesh Sharma expressed his delight to have Shakib
as their partners. “I admiringly watches how Shakib plays his shots both on and off sides, he also bowls
superbly, we want to follow Shakib as Runner motorcycles are also all-rounders in the road” said Mukesh.
Runner Group Vice-Chairman M Mozammel Haque was also present on the occasion.
Bangladesh-based motorcycle manufacturer ‘Runner’ has a total of 16 different models of motorcycles,
ranging from 50cc to 150cc. The company gives a 6-year warranty for each bike to its buyers.
