Famed all-rounder and an iconic player of Bangladesh cricket team Shakib Al Hasan attended a Victory Day programme with autistic children at the Society for the Welfare of Autistic Children (SWAC) in the capital on Monday morning.
A former captain of Bangladesh national cricket team, Shakib Al Hasan spent sometime sharing the joy of Victory Day with the autistic children and also took lunch with them.
To celebrate the Victory Day, Society for the Welfare of AutisticChildren (SWAC), a non-profit voluntary organization that runs a training and education centre for the children with autism, arranged the special programme at its premises in Shyamoli. Speaking briefly on the occasion, Shakib Al Hasan urged the well-off, kind-hearted people to extend their generous support for the well-being of individuals with autism. He also assured to work for the development of the people with autism.
