Best all-rounder of world cricket Shakib Al Hasan and Magical Mehedi Hasan Miraz returned home from West Indies on Tuesday. Shakib Al Hasan and Mahedi Hasan Miraz went to West Indies to participate in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). But they returned home to take part in the practice sessions of Bangladesh National Cricket team ahead of two-Test series of Australia.
Shakib Al Hasan played for Jamaica Tallawahs in CPL. He scored 61 runs playing three matches. Besides, he bagged two wickets.
On the other hand, Trinbago Knight Riders recruited Mehedi Hasan Miraz. But Miraz did get chance to play any match in the ongoing CPL.
Meanwhile, Australia National Cricket team will arrive in the city on August 18.
The first Test between Bangladesh and Australia will be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur from August 27 to August 31.
The second Test between Bangladesh and Australia will be taken place at the Zahur Ahmed Choewdhury Stadium in Chittagong from September 4 to September 8.
Besides, Australia will play a practice two-dayer match against a selected XI of Bangladesh at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah on August 22 to August 23.
