Shakib Al Hasan made another record in his Test career. Shakib Al Hasan scored 2000 runs at home on Sunday. Shakib scored nine runs in the first innings on the fifth and final day against India at Fatullah to cross the 2000-run landmark. Shakib is now the highest run getter for Bangladesh in Tests at home. Shakib played 52 innings in his 28 Test matches.
Shakib hit two centuries and 14 half centuries at home ground. Earlier, Shakib bagged 100 Test wickets at home when he grabbed four wickets for 105 runs against India at Fatullah on Friday last.
Dashing opener Tamim Iqbal took the second spot. Iqbal scored 1903 runs at home. He played 51 innings in his 26 matches.
Prolific Musfiqur Rahim took the third position. He scored 1454 runs at home ground.
