World famous Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan os likely to leave here for Australia on January 4 to play for Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League on January 7, 10, 13 and 19. Although he is scheduled to fly back to Bangladesh on January 24, Shakib’s return or stay there for extra five days to join the World Cup squad of Bangladesh will depend on head coach Chandika Hathurusingha. Shakib Al Hasan considered that his forthcoming three-week stint in the BBL with Melbourne Renegades will train him well for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 to be held in Australia and New Zealand in February-March. Shakib also thinks that the knowledge that he will gain from the BBL will be invaluable for him and he can pass it on to the Bangladesh side, according to Espn.Bangladesh will start ICC Cricket World Cup campaign taking on Afghanistan in their Pool A match on February 18 at Manuka Oval, Canberra while the remaining group matches will be held in Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide in Australia; Nelson and Hamilton in New Zealand.
