Shakib leaves the city for West Indies

Sports Reporter :Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan left the city for West Indies on Saturday night to take part in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).Shakib will play for Jamaica Tallawahs in CPL. Jamaica Tallawahs has give US dollars one lakh and ten thousand to Shakib Al Hasan for take part in the CPL. The CPL will start from June 29. Apart from Shakib Al Hasan, Jamaica Tallawahs has recruited Chris Gayle (West Indies), Kumar Sangakkara (Sri Lanka), Lasith Malinga (Sri Lanka), Andre Russell (West Indies), Imad Wasim (Pakistan).Though the CPL will begin on June 29 but Shakib Al Hasan’s CPL campaign will start on July 2. Jamaica Tallawahs will face Saint Kits in their first match. Shakib Al Hasan is going to take part in the 4th edition of CPL. Earlier, Shakib Al Hasan played for Barbados Tridents in the 1st edition of CPL.Hasan could not take part in the 2nd edition of CPL as he did not get NOC (No Objection Certificate) from BCB. Shakib did not play in the 3rd edition of CPL as he was busy for Bangladesh National Cricket team in its international series.
