Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan left here for the United States (USA) Saturday evening to accompany his wife Umme Ahmed Shishir there, as the star couple is expecting their first child.Shakib’s departure came a day after Bangladesh took a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series beating visiting Zimbabwe in the first ODI held on Saturday.The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) today issued a press release which said all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been released from the national squad for the series against Zimbabwe due to a family emergency. The Bangladesh vice captain is scheduled to fly for the USA tonight to be with his wife during the birth of their first child. The BCB takes this opportunity to extend the very best wishes to the couple.
