World-class all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan reached Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka on Tuesday night to inspire Bangladesh team. Shakib Al Hasan has been ruled out from Nidahas Trophy due to injury.
Players of Bangladesh Cricket team took part in the practice session at Colombo on Wednesday. Shakib was with them. Captain of Bangladesh team Mahmudullah Riyad said, ” We are very much inspired to get Shakib with us. I think presence of Shakib with the team is a very significant matter. We are motivated by his presence with us.”
Bangladesh Cricket team will face India Cricket team today in their first match of the Nidahas Trophy at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. The match starts at 7.30 pm BST (Bangladesh Standard Time).
Shakib Al Hasan will leave Colombo today for Australia for better treatment of his injury.
Shakib Al Hasan got injury in his left finger when he was fielding during the final match of the Tri-Nation ODI series against Sri Lanka on January 27. Then Shakib could not take part in the Test Series and Twenty20 International Series against Sri Lanka due to his injury.
