Shakib fined for unplayable attitude

Best all-rounder of world Test cricket Shakib Al Hasan has been fined Tk 10,000 for his unplayable attitude. Shakib Al Hasan, the captain of Legends of Rupganj bowled against Prime Bank Cricket Club in the match of the Walton Refrigerator Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League at the BKSP Ground in Savar on Wednesday. At one stage, Shakib Al Hasan appealed for leg before wicket against Brendan Taylor, who batted for Prime Bank Cricket Club. But umpire Mizanur Rahman did not agree with him. Thus, Shakib Al Hasan argued with the umpire and exchanged hot talk with the umpire.
After the match, umpire Mizanur Rahman complained to Match Referee Obaidul Haque Azam against Shakib Al Hasan.
Later, the Match Referee has fined Shakib Al Hasan Tk 10,000 for his unplayable attitude. Shakib admitted the charge and accepted the fine of Tk 10,000 imposed by Match Referee Obaidul Haque Azam and therefore no disciplinary hearing was required.
Shakib Al Hasan repeated the misdeed after BCB had finalized to withdraw his punishment. Shakib Al Hasan has been banned for one and half years for breeching code of conduct of BCB. The Board Meeting of BCB took the decision on July 7. Shakib Al Hasan could not take part in the foreign cricket tournaments like Big Bash, IPL, CPL, County Cricket Championship. BCB boss Nazmul Hassan Papon, MP confirmed on Tuesday last that BCB would remove his punishment in the Board Meeting of BCB Directors scheduled to be held today (Thursday).
