The No-1 Test all-rounder, Shakib Al Hasan, joined his favourite team Gazi Tank Cricketers for the ensuing Premier Division Cricket League on the 2nd day of the 2nd phase of the Inter-Club players transfer formalities on Thursday.
The much-talked-about national cricketer Shakib, who failed to participate in the first phase transfer window for the national pool players due to his six-month suspension, has finally been available for playing in the Premier Cricket League as BCB reduced his ban at a board meeting on Tuesday.
Earlier on Wednesday, Shakib wanted to complete the transfer formalities on the very first day of the 2nd phase, but failed to do so due to tug of war between BCB and CCDM regarding the transfer procedure.
However, Shakib came to the BCB office with the owner of Gazi Tank Cricketers Lutfar Rahman Badal on Thursday and completed the signing for his favourite team.
In an immediate reaction after signing the job, Shakib thanked BCB for giving him the opportunity to play in the premier league.
