Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan will leave here for Kuala Lumpur tonight to visit different land and container ports and checkpoints in Malaysia and Singapore.
He will lead a six-member delegation during the visit, said an official release on Thursday.
Members of the delegation include Chittagong Port Authority Chairman Rear Admiral Mohammad Khaled Iqbal and Bangladesh Land Port Authority Chairman Tapan Kumar Chakrabarty.
The delegation will visit Inland Container Depot (ICD) in Kuala Lumpur, Tanjung Pelapus Port and TUAS Second Link Checkpoint in Johr Bahru, Singapore Port, ICD and Woodland Checkpoint.
The minister is expected to return home on May 21.
