Sheikh Arif Bulbon :Besides acting in TV plays or telefilms, once popular film film actress Aruna Biswas has been engaged with making for the small screen now. But number of making is not quite mentionable because she has to be engaged with acting most of the time.On the occasion of ensuing Eid-ul-Fitr, Aruna has made a play titled Laddu and a telefilm titled Othoba Prem Noito Bhalobasha. In play Laddu, National Film Award winning actress Zakia Bari Momo acted in a lead role, while promising actress Shaila Sabi also acted in lead role in the telefilm. Aruna has already finished shooting of these two works.Though Shaila Sabi earlier acted under direction of Aruna Biswas but for the first time Momo acted under Aruna’s direction in any play. While talking about works on the occasion of Eid Aruna Biswas told this correspondent, “To say normally, I am very fond of Momo’s acting. I am impressed with her acting. She is really a real performer. To understand her role properly, she tries to perform her level best while acting. On the other hand Shaila Sabi is a cool and polite typed actress. I couldn’t understand she took part in shooting of my telefilm because I didn’t receive any hassle from her while shooting which other actresses sometimes do. She always remains silent on the set.”Actress Momo shared her feelings by this way, “In my childhood, I watched some movies of Arunadi’s acted. I like her acting well. It is my pleasure to work under her direction. I believe viewers will enjoy to watch the play Laddu.”The theme and concept of telefilm Othoba Prem Noito Bhalobasha was Aruna Biswas herself. On the other hand, Rumman Rashid Khan wrote story of play Laddu. The play will be aired on ATN Bangla, while the telefilm is scheduled to be aired on Channel i. Sajal acted against Momo in the play, while Monir Khan Shimul acted against Shaila Sabi in the telefilm. Now Aruna Biswas acted two serials – Jibon-er Golpo, directed by Mainul Hasan Khokon, and Jibon-er Oligoli, directed by Fazlur Rahman, – are being aired on Asian TV and Channel i respectively. In Eid, Momo will be seen to perform in a dance show titled Momo Chittey. She will perform with five popular songs in the dance show. Momo’s acted last released movie was Chhuye Diley Mon. On the other hand, Shaila Sabi acted in several plays on the occasion of ensuing Eid. Now she is taking preparation to act in Sohel Arman’s movie Bhromor, she said.
