Shaila Mostafa, hailed from Chittagong, has been attached with music when she was only eight years old. She got primary training from Ustad Joyontilala in Chittagong. Due to her staying outside the country Shaila was detached with practicing music for several years.
Attached with a cultural organisation, Drishti during her both school and college life, Shaila was regular in rendering song, took part in recitation and debate contests. But she always loved music from heart and soul. She has completed BBA and MBA from two separate private universities. Now Shaila is engaged with the preparations for releasing her first solo album. Rokib Hossain, Moon and Lutfar Rahman wrote lyrics of the songs of the album. Shan has composed its music.
