State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam yesterday visited Jatiya Press Club (JPC) at the invitation of its managing committee.
On his arrival at JPC, the state minister was received by JPC President Muhammad Shafiqur Rahman and General Secretary Qamrul Islam Chowdhury, a press release of the club said.
Later, Shahriar Alam exchanged views with the members of the JPC managing committee.
Samakal Editor Golam Sarwar, JPC Treasurer Kartik Chaterjee, Joint Secretary Ashraf Ali, Nawroz Editor Shamsul Haque Durrani and Shamsuddin Ahmed Charu were present on the occasion, among others.
