Shahriar Rashid’s family man sued under ICT Act

A case had been filed with the Dhanmondi Model Police Station on 23rd August under the Information Communication Technology (ICT) Act against a family member of Retired Lieutenant Colonel Sultan Shahriar Rashid Khan who was executed in the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman assassination case.
Mohammad Nazmul Ahsan Pias, a member of Bangabandhu Prokousali Parishad, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology Branch, Dhaka, filed the case on August 23, 2018.
According to the case, Fuad Zaman, son-in law of Shahriar Rashid Khan, on August 15 in 2018 wrote in his face-book
timeline, “Salute to those who sacrificed themselves to make our motherland Bangladesh free from the autocratic rule of Sheikh Mujib on the 15th of August 1975. The nation specially prays for the departed soul of great freedom fighters and martyrs: Col Shahriar Rashid Khan, Col Faruk Rahman, Col Mohiuddin, Maj Bajlul Huda, Maj Mohiuddin. May Al-Mighty Allah grant them the ultimate Paradise….Jannat-ul-Ferdous.”
