Besides acting in films, popular actress Shahnoor is also engaged with shooting of TV plays. As a part of its continuation, she worked in a new play titled Ei Shohorey Ar Thaka Holo Na under Shahin’s direction. Its shooting has been done recently in the city’s Uttara area. Shahnoor played in the lead role in the play.
While talking about the play Shahnoor told this correspondent, “Story of the new play is based on a contemporary story. After a long time, I acted in a faction play in a leading role. For this reason, I enjoyed it a lot. I believe viewers will also enjoy the play.”
In her long time career, Shahnoor has acted in 50 movies and more than 300 plays till now. During this time she has also produced three plays – Rezanur Rahman’s Anubhobey Tumi and Nodi Bhanga Meye and Shamim Sharif’s Facebook-ey Nil Akash.
She has already decided to give direction. Besides acting, she will give direction. She has already taken necessary preparation in this regard.
She said, “It is really difficult to work as a director. Though I acted in many plays and movies but could not get courage to give direction. In fact, I could not get courage but some of my well-wishers and intimate personas gave encourage me to give direction now.”
Meanwhile, Shahnoor has finished shooting of liberation war based Zahid Hossain’s movie Leelamonthon and Faruk Hossain’s movie Kaktarua.
