Due to acting in movies, some other times acting in faction plays, political engagement and to engage with different social activities regularly film actress Shahnoor gets the scope to work in drama serial a little bit. After a long time, she acted in a drama serial titled Cheater, which story was written by Apon Ahsan while Tonmoy Ahsan gave direction of it.
Shahnoor took part in shooting of first phase of the serial, which shooting was held at a shooting house at Pubail in Gazipur recently. While talking about acting in the serial Shahnoor told this correspondent, “I cannot remember when I last acted in a drama serial. But I want to act in TV serial. If I do not like story and character, then I cannot agree to work. Story of Cheater is contemporary and I have liked my role in the serial. For this reason, I am working in the serial. I believe viewers will enjoy the serial when it will go on air.”
Meanwhile, Shahnoor also acted in Gazi Faruk directed OVC titled Mujib Tomai Kotha Dilam, which has been made on the occasion of marking birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Shahnoor acted in the central role in the TVC for which she is getting positive response now.
Shahnoor is Film Affairs Secretary of Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote. In 2000, Shahnoor started her acting career in movie. On that year, Shahnoor-starrer movie Jiddi Sontan, directed by Zillur Rahman Moina, was released. She got appreciation to act against Rubel in that film. Kuashar Shesh Chithi was Shahnoor-starrer first TV play.
