Shahnoor has planned to give direction for many days. At last, she came into direction. She acted in two short films, Ekti Bangladesh and Bangabandhu-The Great Leader, on the occasion of coming Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birth centenary.
Story concept of Ekti Bangladesh was given by director Shahnoor herself. Komol Sarkar wrote script of the short film. By giving direction of this short film, Shahnoor started her career as director.
Komol Sarkar wrote script of the short film Bangabandhu-The Great Leader. Taju Kamrul has made this short film. Arman Parvez Murad was co-actor of Shahnoor in the short film. Shooting of the short film was done at Harun’s residence at Pubail in Gazipur on February 27 and 28.
While talking about giving direction for the first time Shahnoor said, “I had many days’ plan to make TV play. But I couldn’t get the scope. At last, I got the opportunity to give direction to focus on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Story concept was mine. I got co-operation from the unit during shooting. I believe everybody will enjoy the short film which has been made for the children to pay tribute to Bangabandhu. I am also delighted to work another short film directed by Taju Kamrul. Now I am waiting to watch these on the screen.”
