Few years ago, Zahid Hossain made a movie titled Matrittwo casting popular film actress Moushumi. Moushumi’s outstanding acting appreciated the viewers during that time. This time Taju Kamrul has made Matrittwo for the viewers of small screen.
Mobarak Hossain wrote story of this drama where film actress Shahnoor played the role of a mother. Arshia acted in role of her daughter. Director Taju Kamrul informed that shooting of the play has already been done at Pubail in Gazipur.
While talking about acting in Matrittwo Shahnoor told this correspondent, “I watched Moushumi Apu-starred movie Matrittwo in the cinema hall. I was impressed to watch Moushumi Apu’s acting in that film. She is my favourite actress. Her acting with Humayun Faridee Bhai in that movie attracted me well. Her acting in role of a mother was really outstanding. I also acted in that role after long time. It was really a challenging role for me. Because its shooting was held I was sick. But I tried my level best to portray my role properly. I believe viewers will enjoy the drama.”
Meanwhile, Shahnoor-starred and Joy Sarkar-directed movie Indubala got censor certificate recently. In this film, Shahnoor acted well in the role of a widow. Shahnoor is also passing busy times in politics now. She has also finished shooting of Taju Kamrul’s movie Bela Obela, she added.
