Shahnaz Belly is one of the leading folk singers of the country. But Belly always feels comfortable to introduce herself as a singer of Lalon songs. Round the year she has to be engaged with stage shows in and outside the country. In Ramzan, she is absent from stage shows. After Eid, she will be engaged with different stage shows. She has already engaged herself in different live TV shows. She has already confirmed to perform in two live shows on the occasion of coming Eid.
Belly said that on sixth day of Eid, she will perform in a live Eid show on Nagorik TV at 11:00pm. On seventh day of Eid, she along with Fakir Shahbuddin will perform in Ekushey TV’s live musical show at 11:30pm.
She also informed that she is also talking with three to four TV channels to perform in Eid but which yet not confirmed.
While talking about her live shows Shahnaz Belly told this correspondent, “It is really a liking matter for me to perform in TVs’ live musical shows because there is a scope to communicate with the viewers during live performance. There is also scope to render those songs which viewers request me. It is really a different taste for a singer. In Eid, it has diverse taste because there is a scope to enjoy the shows by the viewers during that time.”
