Mustaque Ahmed promoted to Deputy Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited on Thursday, said a press release.
Prior, Mustaque Ahmed was the Senior Executive Vice-President (SEVP) and Head of Internal Control and Compliance Division of the Bank.
Mustaque Ahmed started his banking career in 1985 as Probationary Officer in United Commercial Bank Limited. He worked there for more than 14 years and worked in various capacities such as Branch Manager, Sub-Manager as well as in-Charge of loans and Advanced Department. After that he joined in One Bank Limited in 1999 as First Assistant Vice-President. He joined in Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited in 2001 as Senior Assistant Vice-President and served here for more than 16 years as different branch manager and the head of different important division of the bank.
