Ace all-rounder Shahid Afridi will arrive in the city today to participate in the ongoing AKS Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Twenty20 Cricket. Afridi will play for Dhaka Dynamites in the ongoing BPL.
Manager of Dhaka Dynamites Khaled Mahmud Sujan said to the newsmen, ” If everything goes well, Shahid Afridi will reach the city on Wednesday. Pakistani pacer Mohammad Amir will also join Dhaka Dynamites after completing his campaign of domestic cricket competition of Pakistan.
Caribbean stars Polard, Marlon Samuels, Sunil Narine, Erwin Lewis and Kumar Sangakkara of Sri Lanka and South African cricketer Cameron Delport are performing their respective sides in the ongoing BPL.
Shane Watson of Australia was scheduled to take part in the BPL. But he cannot participate in the tournament due to injury.
