The Shaheed Smrity Hockey competition, organized by Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF), will begin on February 15 at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium. Talking to BSS on Saturday, BHF acting general secretary Mohammad Yousuf said a total of four services teams – Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Air Force and Bangladesh Police – will take part in the meet. Meanwhile, the final round of the national school hockey competition will begin on February 26 in Dhaka with eighteen champions and runners-up teams taking part in the final round, the acting general secretary informed.
