The Shaheed Smrity Hockey competition begins from today at Moulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium in the city with two matches are scheduled to be held on the opening day. On the day, Bangladesh Navy will take on AHM Kamruzzaman Smrity Sangha at 3.30 pm while Bangladesh Army face Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothistan (BKSP) in the day’s other match of the opening day’s fixture that kicks off at 5.30 pm Organised by Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF), a total of five teams are taking part in the meet, which will be held marking the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
