For the first time as a pair, popular TV actor Shahed Sharif Khan and film actress Shirin Shila are taking part in the shooting of a movie
titled Birangana-71, which story is based on the Liberation War.
M Sakhawat Hossain is giving direction of this movie. Script and
dialogues of the movie were also written by director Sakhawat himself, who had earlier gave direction of two movies. Shooting of the second phase of this movie is going on at Pubail in Gazipur now.
Popular film actress of new generation, Shirin Shila has joined in the second phase of shooting of this movie. Shahed Sharif Khan is playing an important role, Mohon, in the movie.
While talking about acting in this movie, Shahed Sharif Khan said, “In Birangana-71, Mohon is a significant and outstanding character. I am really delighted to get the opportunity to play this role in the movie. I had earlier experienced to work with M Sakhawat Hossain Bhai. He works cordially and sincerely. He is also trying to make Birangana-71 cordially. Shirin Shila is working as my co-actress in this movie. It is no doubt she is a good actress. I am enjoying a lot working with her. I believe viewers will enjoy our on screen chemistry in the movie.
Shirin Shila said, “In my acting career, for the first time I got the scope to act in a movie which story is based on the Liberation War. I am playing the role of a war heroine named Joibun in the movie. As it is the story of Liberation War based movie so, I have been taking part in its shooting with full excitement. During shooting, I remain very careful and also trying to portray my character properly in the movie. Not only director Sakhawat Bhai but also my co-actor talented Shahed Sharif Bhai is co-operating me during shooting. Overall, I am very much optimistic about this movie.”
Meanwhile, Shirin Shila recently got BABISAS Award in category of Best Actress for acting in movie Begumjaan, which was released in 2019. On January 24, Shila acted movie Nodir Jole Shapla Bhashe got clearance certificate from Film Censor Board. She has already finished shooting of web series, Jimmi and movie, Ghor Bhanga Sangsar. In the beginning of next month, she will start shooting of her new movie Moyurakshi, Shirin Shila mentioned. On the other hand, Shahed is waiting to get release dates of his acted two movies – Antoratma and Senapoti. He has already completed shooting of Aruna Biswas directed movie, Asombhob.
