They were familiar with each other and they used to go to DJ party together.
Dr Sabrina and her husband and JKG Health Care CEO Ariful Chaudhury revealed the startling information during remand, reports Somoy English Desk.
Besides, it was learned that a quarter of the Health Ministry and the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) had been behind the rise of JKG Health Care. For this quarter, Dr Sabrina had been able to get the permission for coronavirus test from the DGHS for her institution, according to a report published in a daily on Sunday.
The detectives are examining the information.
Dr Sabrina was put on a two-day fresh remand on a Friday in a case filed over providing fake Covid-19 reports without carrying out any coronavirus test.
On July 13, she was placed on a three-day remand for interrogation over the scam.
Dr Sabrina was arrested over coronavirus test report scam on July 12.
She was called to the Tejgaon deputy commissioner’s office of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) for questioning. After the primary grilling, he was arrested.
On the same day, she was dismissed from the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases by the Health Ministry.
Earlier on June 24, police arrested her husband and JKG Health Care CEO Ariful Chaudhury and four others from the capital for allegedly providing fake coronavirus test reports without carrying out any test.
A case was also filed against them in this regard.
Shahed Karim was arrested from Satkhira on July 15 while trying to flee to India. Later, he was placed on a 10-day remand in a case filed over the issuance of fake coronavirus certificates from Regent Hospital.
