Shah Sufi Faridpuri’s departure day observed

Shah Sufi Khwaja Baba Faridpuri’s departure day was observed in Dhaka city with the participation of thousands of his followers.
First time the departure day programme was organized in Capital. The programme was included special prayers for peace, welfare and unity of the nation and the country, a press release said.
A special speech was delivered by Pirzada Mostafa Amir Faisal, who is the spiritual representative of Shah Sufi Khwaja Baba Faridpuri, Chairman of Zaker Party and Bishwa Zaker Manjil Foundation.
Shah Sufi Faridpuri left at 1:35 am on May1, 2001, at the Darbar Sharif in Banani, Dhaka. Each year Zaker Party is commemorated the day by organizing the Fateha Sharif.
To ensure comfortable accommodation of worship, taking meals and rest for the peace-seeking devotees from all across the country -seven points near the entry ways to Dhaka City have been specified at Dhaka Udyan in Mohammadpur, Abdullahpur in Uttara, Chunkutia in Keraniganj, Dhalpur, Dolairpar, and Bangshal.
Among the venues, the principal arrangement was held at Dhaka Udyan, adjacent to Mohammadpur Beribadh. This large and spacious venue has been embellished with massive-scale awnings and gateways.
He said, “We need the kind of Muslims who will uphold the message inherent in true islam and who will contribute in building up welfare-oriented lives.
He also said, “Our ideals are those of love and self-sacrifice. Zaker Party is the party of humanity.”
Zaker Party’s Senior Vice-Chairman Dr. Saim Amir Faisal said, “Zaker Party is an international organization of people from all across the world, who are devoted to Sufism.”
