Former FBCCI President Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin collected nomination paper for getting Awami League ticket for contesting the Dhaka-10 constituency by-polls.
Former BGMEA President Siddiqur Rahman collected the
nomination form from Awami League office for Shafiul on Tuesday.
During nomination paper distribution, Awami League Office Secretary Barrister Biplob Barua and Deputy Office Secretary Sayem Khan were present.
Meanwhile, Dhaka-10 constituency became vacant while its parliament member Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh resigned to participate in the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) mayoral polls.
Election Commission (EC) has set March 21 for Dhaka-10 by-polls.
